Shokoufeh

Shokoufeh means blossom, and that is exactly what happens here. Building on the playful listening and speaking of Ghoncheh, children begin taking their very first steps towards Persian writing in a gentle and age-appropriate way.

Our research-based, child-centred approach draws on Montessori and Waldorf methods: language grows through doing, making, and imagining, never through drill.

• Recognising the shape of their own name in Persian and gradually learning to write it
• Learning to recognise and write Persian numbers
• Pre-writing activities, including tracing the shapes and strokes used in Persian letters, without formally learning the alphabet yet, to strengthen fine-motor skills and prepare the hand for future writing
• Project-based exploration: nature, family, festivals, and everyday life in Farsi
• Traditional songs, movement, and puppet storytelling in every session
• Persian cultural arts and seasonal crafts, Nowruz, Yalda, and more
