Shokoufeh
شکوفه
Ages 4-5.5
Shokoufeh means blossom, and that is exactly what happens here. Building on the playful listening and speaking of Ghoncheh, children begin taking their very first steps towards Persian writing in a gentle and age-appropriate way.
Our research-based, child-centred approach draws on Montessori and Waldorf methods: language grows through doing, making, and imagining, never through drill.
- Recognising the shape of their own name in Persian and gradually learning to write it
- Learning to recognise and write Persian numbers
- Pre-writing activities, including tracing the shapes and strokes used in Persian letters, without formally learning the alphabet yet, to strengthen fine-motor skills and prepare the hand for future writing
- Project-based exploration: nature, family, festivals, and everyday life in Farsi
- Traditional songs, movement, and puppet storytelling in every session
- Persian cultural arts and seasonal crafts, Nowruz, Yalda, and more
- Carefully aligned with the Swiss HSK curriculum framework
