Yalda Night

Shab-e Yalda is the longest night of the year, around 21 December. Families stay up together, read the poems of Hafez, share pomegranates, watermelon and nuts, and welcome the return of the light.

BolBol School celebrates Yalda in Zurich and in Geneva with music, dance, stories and a shared table. The evening is open to everyone, not only to our families. Tickets help us cover the venue, the musicians, materials and food; anyone with a low income is welcome to contribute what they can.
